ToolMango

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-04-29

ToolMango is reader-supported. When you click a tool's "Try" button and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission from the tool's vendor at no extra cost to you. This page explains how that works and how we keep our editorial coverage honest.

How we make money

ToolMango is free for readers. We have no paid placements, no subscription tiers, no ads. Our only revenue comes from affiliate commissions paid by tool vendors when our readers convert into their customers. Some vendors pay a flat referral fee, others pay a percentage of the customer's first-year subscription, others pay recurring revenue share.

Why this doesn't bias our rankings

Our ROI Score is calculated from public, observable inputs: monthly cost, time-to-value, quality outputs in our hands-on tests, free-tier generosity, category fit, and reader signals (clicks, return visits, newsletter feedback). The score is computed before we know whether an affiliate program exists. Tools we don't earn a commission from still appear — and frequently rank above tools we do earn from — when they earn it on the merits.

We will always disclose when a tool we've covered runs an affiliate program we participate in. We will never accept payment to change a ranking, omit a competitor, or write a positive review of a tool we wouldn't recommend.

Programs we currently participate in

This list is current as of the "Last updated" date. We are continuously applying to more programs; the up-to-date list is whichever tools have a referralUrl on their tool detail page.

Other tools listed on the site (Notion, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Perplexity, GitHub Copilot, Jasper, Copy.ai, Surfer SEO, Zapier, Make.com, Otter.ai, AdCreative.ai, Grammarly, HeyGen, Leonardo, Runway, Pictory, Descript, Tome, Gamma, and others) are covered editorially. Where we link to them without an affiliate relationship, the link is a plain redirect with no commission attached.

Tracking

FTC & advertising compliance

This page exists to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions (including the UK CAP Code, EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, and India Consumer Protection Act 2019). Each tool page includes a short inline disclosure when a "Try" link is an affiliate link.

Editorial independence

We don't accept paid reviews, sponsored placements, or guest posts. Tool vendors cannot pay us to remove negative reviews, change ROI scores, or boost rankings. If a vendor pressures us to do so, we'll publicly say so.
